    Control Boxes under Passenger Seat??

I have an automatic 88 Lxi. What are the control boxes under the passenger seat for? I had this car stored in a garage, and it flooded. Anyway it wont run now and I am getting a new ECU to start with but have no idea what the two boxes under the passenger side are for. TIA

I don't think the coupes and hatches had power locks, even on LX-i/SE-i. As far as the modules, I'm not sure of everything, but I know there's two power relays for something, and one of the boxes in the control box for the radiator cooling fans.

    1. what country are you located at?
    2. on US versions the little grey box under the passenger (right) seat is the door lock controls, under the driver (left) is the ECU

The ECU is under the driver side. I am not asking about the ECU. I am asking about the two boxes under the passenger side. I have a pic if you want me to send it to you.

Ok, since you don't have power locks, do you have automatic(passive) seatbelts then??? If so then it's the cooling fan timer module and paasive seatbelt module:smokin:
