headlights went out!!!!!!!
I was driving on this back road and I had my brights on and for some reason they started dimming down so i clicked the regulars on and all of a sudden they both went out. I checked the main light fuse and it was still good so anybody know what could be wrong?

alternator
no not the alternator. did ur battery light come on? if so then u should look into the alternator. Probably my guess it that you burnt out ur headlights. how long did you have your brights on? do your taillights work?
are the lights on in ur dash? if so then its just ur headlights or maybe ur battery isnt powerfull enough.
yeah i had my hi beams on for a long time and today i replaced them and noticed that there were blue pieces of the light bulb inside the light so now they're ok. why the blue ones blew i dunno really.

Stupid question but have you cleaned your battery terminals since this happened. That happens to me every onece in a while and when I clean my terminals, it starts working again.
