87 is up from $1.99 to between $2.05-2.09. I think that jump was just in one day.

Regular fuel will be well into the 90-98 cent a litre range by the end of the summer - mark my words.
That being said, what is the typical fuel economy that can be expected from an EX-i in a good state of tune? I havent the slightest idea what is good and what is bad.

I know that my turbodiesel Mercedes costs just under $40 to fill (actually, $32, as I never let it get much below 1/4 tank) and that lasts an entire week. This works out to 10.3 litres per 100 kilometers, if I recall my last calculations, for my mostly highway drive to work and around town on the weekends. That, I believe is almost 40 mpg mixed hwy/city.
Diesels rule - even if they do stink.
The 1750 cc 74' Alfa GTV with 2 Del Lorto's gets just over half that on mid-grade or premium if I plan on driving it hard.
My Ducati 888 motorcycle is even worse. It guzzles premium, and will consume at least $10 a day, and gets under 5 l. per 100 km/18 mpg. (being ridden maniacally, though).
So far, the Accord is an unknown, as we have had it 1 week today, and we have used 3/4 of a tank, driving every day.

the highest i've seen in my area is $2.19 for regular. that is up around the Pigeon Forge area, when i'm going to school. here close to my house it's around $2.15 a gallon. i was at a quarter of a tank yesterday and filled it the rest of the way for $18. i have to take tourist traffic into account in my travel schedule to school. i hate going to a school that's in a tourist area easily accesible by 1/3 of the US within a 6 hour drive. Dollywood sucks people, go somewhere else!!!! sorry for the rant.
