    yo OldSchoolSwap

hey man, what engine are you running in your ride? i need to do a swap and i was wondering what engine i should go with. i was thinking maybe the b20a5, maybe f22a4, but if there is a more powerful engine that will bolt in, please let me know.

    thanks.

also, what kind of times are you running in your car.

He had a B16a, and there aren't any "drop in" engines that are easy to obtain for our cars, only the B20a from the JDM Accords of the same generation drops in the stock mounts. The B20a5, is that VTEC?

the b20a5 is from the 88-91 predude 2.0 SIs. or was it 89-91? the f22a4 was the 4th gen accords i think, but the list i had showed two different engines for the 4th gen accords. i found several lists of every engine code ever made for hondas but now i can't find them. the b20a5 was recommended to me from my boys at hondachat.com

    oh and i'm from VA

Oh, then if it is that B20 from 3rd gen preludes the swap is gonna be hard from what I have been told. In the FAQs it explains why, but the main problem with the B20a5 is it leans in a different direction and it had different mounts. Now the JDM B20a is the only swap that I know of that is a direct bolt in, with the only thing you need is the tranny mount for it. You will also need the ecu and wire harness, but at least the motor is a direct bolt in.
