Whenever my car is stopped it starts shaking, sometimes bad and sometimes not too bad. Whenever i put it in neutral it stops. It seems that in the morning it doesnt do it as bad, maybe because its cooler outside? i have no idea, a friend told me that it the brakes but i dont know. Can someone help me out, thanks

This problem mirrors my own in the past, hard idle, especially when I would engage the A/C. It was an electrical issue which I fixed by:
    a)replacing my shot battery
    b)cleaning the terminal plugs
c)installing a thicker AWG. cable for the engine ground
    d)replaced a bad alternator

Oh and prior to that, I had a faulty fuel pump causing the car to sputter erradically until it just died. The electrical system was draining so bad that power actually was sppread so thin acroos the other components, causing intermittent failures. I tested my theory by using a multimeter and plugging directly into the fise box for every individual item and found low voltages.

That corrected my problem, just a suggestion though, and may not necessarily alleviate your own issue.
