Down. It's sleeker looking that way, and tapping the flip switch is a different way of signaling that someone can get over

Well right now, with my front end being all out of whack, I have to leave them up. They will go down just fine, but when you put them back up the drivers light won't go up without some assistance (gets stuck on the hood). As soon as I get all that fixed though, they're going back down

When I see cars running around during the summer with the headlights off and up, I always assume at least one of their motors is shot and they have them permanantly open to avoid the cost of fixing it.

i only pop mine up during the day if i see other 3geez, or my engine is running hot... if the latter, i just flip the lights on altogether instead of just popping the lids.

fixed popped lids look like somebody has a broken servomotor

I don't drive a 3rd gen Accord but I do drive a car with pop-up lights (a 200SX) and I never put the lights up except at night, or in the rain when they should be on....looks much cooler with them down.

Anybody ever make their pop-ups start winking? It's hilarious the first time you do it with a bunch of people who are easily amused.

    well... consider my location.

it's 110 in the shade here during the summer(now) in lancaster = antelope valley = mojave desert. we're at 2500ft above sea level, so the air is a lil thinner... and when i start my car my engine compartment temp is already 150+ degrees farenheit cuz it's parked in the sun in front of my house.

so during the day, when i start my car up, i turn on my headlights to help air circulate until it can cool down a lil bit in there.

Haven't seen an EXP in years. Where'd they all go?

i like the frog-eyed EXP's because they were unique little cars that were fairly rare, even if they were only glorified Escorts. and try finding the convertible version, of which there were only like 20 or 30 made.

I always leave my lights down unlesss they're on. In my opinion it looks pretty:gay: to drive with the lights up during the day. To repeat what others have said it looks like the motor went bad and too cheap to fix it.

On the other hand the 3g has one of the best looking headlights while in the up position. Only cars that look better are nsx, c-5, lamborhinis , and ferraris.

Really ugly pop ups pulsar, corrola, opels and theres alot of others too.

I left them down when I had my stock bumper, but I leave them up now that I got the Xenon front bumper, I think it makes the car look more agressive.
