I expect that I should have my bulbs soon! I ordered them from this store.

cost about $14 for 12 bulbs. Should be fun. I will post pictures as soon as I get some.

Yeah get some pics up, i wanna see how it compares to the other method (inverting the gauge print outs and using a cathode light).
Well, when I purchased the bulbs, I also saw that they offered UV LED's. So I guess youi could put in UV leds and maybe look like that somewhat famous thread about the cold cathode. Also, when I get a bit more $ I will purchase both blue and UV lights for it and try red on top and blue/uv behind the gauges and vice versa.
dont u only need to replace 7 of the guage bulbs? thought it was 5 3.4w and 2 1.4w?
yes that is right, but i'm planning on trying to change some of the other dash lights too. But like an idiot when i ordered the bulbs i got the wrong quantities.
you need 4#74's and 5" 194/158's with the NS gauges.
How many/what wattage with the Denso? Mine are really dim and green... it's very irritating.
i've been thinking about doing this too. Let me know how it goes.
cool. i will post pictures as soon as i can.
THEY ARE DONE! I'll take a picture tonight and i'll show you all what i got!! BTW: IT LOOKS SWEET!!!!
they are here...

was wondering if you could spray the candy apple testers on your glass gauge cover and the guages would light up red? just wondering
3geez for life.
i checked the picture thread, and damn that shit looks nice. so explain to me how you worked this magic. you bought the bulbs, but do you have to take the gauges off to install them?
if you cant go fast, go loud and sexy
yes, you take out the gaguges, remove the top piece that holds two of the smaller bulbs, remove the blue plastic, remove all the bulbs that effect the gauges and replace them with red ones.
did you buy the leds or the bulbs?
Bulbs not leds.
Looks cool. I need to try the same with blue LEDs
I'm your local R&D nut. Fabracting, welding, tuning and breaking my stuff so you don't have to.
i forgot to ask...which ones are for which part? Are the 74 for the top or behind the gauges.
top and behind
