    Doing body work...

So you all should know by now that my trunklid has been fucked for a while now. I fixed it all except for the part below the lights. This part has a number of dents on it, and I need to fill them (I'm going to use JB Weld). My question is, how do I fill this AND make sure that the surface is not ripply and ugly looking after I sand it smooth?

I don't recommend JB weld, it very hard and does not sand very well, I'd go with straight bondo, do it in thin layers, and sand it smooth as you go. that should keep you from having ripples.

The only way to get bondo smooth is by blocksanding. If you don't block sand it will look like it is waving to you all the time. But you are lucky it is not black, silver hides waves well.

Any tips on bondoing? I know it does not last a long time. Any tips would be good.
