    Squeaky to the max

Hey there, i dunno if this is the right place to post this
but i dunno if its the springs or what, but my car squeaks when i go over humps or if theres any sort of bouncing it'll squeak like a bitch... Any quick fixes for this? Like spray WD40 or any sort of lubricant to stop the squeaks?

Yeah, you might try wd-40 on the sway bar bushings..that's where mine where squeaking at and the wd-40 took the squeak away (at leat temporarily..it's back now).

My upper control arm busings squeek on bumps. The probelm is the spray just doesnt do a thing. Oh well, I just turn up the music to hide the noise.

The sound could also be cause by failing balljoints. Try to pinpoint the area where the squeaking is coming from. If it is in the ball joint area, check the BJ boots for tears or cracks. Raise the corner where the source of the noise is and try to move the two components connected by the ball joint. If they have slack at the connection, replace the BJ. Also pump each corner of the car up and down to simulate road conditions. It is best to have someone bounce the car while you listen or touch various suspension components. By touching the parts you can feel where the source of the squeaking is. WD40 is only a temporary fix to most squeaks. If the culprit is a ball joint, replace it as soon as possible. One of my BJs was worn and I could literarly almost disassemble the joint by hand while still installed (squeaked and creaked like crazy).

I hope you find this helpful.
