My car turns over but won't start

It started last night when I tried to start the car, it turned over and started for a few seconds. I started to pull out of my driveway and it stalled. Since, I have not been able to get it running. It almost sounds as if the engine isn't getting any gas, but I have no clue what's up. Can somebody tell me what's up? I mean it turns over, but won't start.

Here is how you would check if there is gas going to the carb:

Pull the fuel line off of the secondary fuel filter (hood area) and have someone turn the key. There should be fuel coming through the line, if not then check the filters and pump. It is also a good idea to syphon the fuel into a jar of some sort so you don't spray everything with fuel when testing. Sounds like your filters may be the culprit. Check the filters and see if they are clogged. They are cheap parts that are easy to replace.

could be fuel pump

Solution found... as I was mounting a relay box for fog lights I cracked the circuit board for the fuel pump and alternator behind the fuse box. I'm an idiot. Thanks for the help '89 abd Jay.
