    Removal of gasket leftovers

What do you use to remove the gasket leftovers on the engine block and head? :smokin:

I use a piece of phenolic or a thick piece of lexan that I ground an edge down on so that it doesn't nick or scratch things up, if you have a grinding wheel you can try that or most people just use a gasket scraper or razor blade. They make a spray gasket remover too, choice is all up to you

I use a gasket scraper, then use a dremel tool w/ a lite grit sanding wheel (like the one's used for wood) to lightly remove the rest of the small stuff. I finish it off with one of those 3m abrasive pads to smooth out any nicks and scrapes I may have made in the process. Works good for me.
