How do you get that little knob off at the end of the parking brake? The, little thing you push into release the brake, the silver thing. Mine has lost all of its silver coating and I want it back. Is it possible to get it off so I can put a new one on?

well, neither the shop manual or the haynes manual does not say it good. I guess u gotta pull on it. try taking the center console off and the shroud on the e-brake. see if u can figure out how to take it off. sorry i am not much of a help.
just put tape all around the handle and use touch up paint......if you had enough tape and a few card board boxes you might be able to spray paint it right in the car :pimp:
i think you can't take this knob out till you remove the consol ! my father's car is like this , not sure about honda !
