    IDLE problem

    Ok i have a little problem. since last 3 days my car has been idling at 1k to 1200 k. and when i am in a complete stop it goes down to 1k sometime and stays above it most of the time. maybe if i spray some carb cleaner in my EFI or something. help me out

    Your throttle cable may be getting stuck try pulling back on the gas pedal with your foot and see if it goes down .

    iv tryed that. nothing happens. its not jumpy its just stays at 1100k for a while then goes to 1000k. idk.

    check for a vacume leak if nothing seems to help get some throttle body cleaner and maybe use the idle ajustment screw (flat head on side of the TB)

    yeah i fixed it. there were two vacum leaks i by passed one and u know the black box by the throttle body with 2 vacum tube to it will there was a big hole and it was broken so i pluged that and lower the idle down. if anything happens again i get back to u. but its fine now. thanks guys.

    check your fast idle valve. it's on the back of the intake manifold. it can get air bubbles stuck in it and give the wrong temp to the ecu. you can bleed you coolant system also. there is a bleed screw on the thermo housing
