    Question body work

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience in doing home body repairs to their cars. I want to take off the molding and make it flush...but I don't have any experience with Bondo. There are a few other things I want to do but thats the main one, followed by painting the car. Also if no one can help me, does anyone know of a website that can help out? Thanks.

I don't have experience with custom body work but I've done some on my car due to horrible drivers. I do know, however, you don't want to just use Bondo to shave your moldings. It's just too deep and too large of an area. The Bondo will eventually just fall off. You want to weld some sheetmetal over the area and finish it off that way. If you're not real experience with welding and body refinishing, I would suggest taking it somewhere to get it done. It does look great though afterwards. Good luck man. :super:
