Konis- rear only is there ANYWHERE that has them?

Well now that I will have the revalved Bilsteins in the front I need something for the rear. I really want konis but does anyone have them in stock? Tirerack.com says "special order" on their website so I am sure that means no . So does anyone know where i could get some for the rear only? Or does anyone here have some for sale? I really would like to get something better than Tokico's and I am not going to go through the hassle and expense of getting revalved blistens for the rear. thanks

    Dat's right,

    sent out the struts today.

I know that if and when i get an accord again, I'll get some revalved bilstiens at a higher rate.

Then I'll personally drive up there and give you a ride and make your teeth fall out man!

Hope you like the bilstiens Patrick!
    sorry guys v8's rule

Yep like goldyaccord said he shipped them out today, so they are not on the car yet.

Well I will be going with H&R's. I have been talking with Jim, he had them with the Bilsteins and he really liked them. They will be perfect for what I need, good handling, nice ride, street use. This car is my daily driver so I dont want to use really stiff springs, but I still want the car to handle well.

I doubt I will get into auto-x, with the turbo I will be in a class with cars that would be waaay faster than mine. If I ever did I would get (stiffer) revalved Bilsteins on all four corners and get a set of GC coilovers with custom spring rates. But I doubt that would ever happen.

dont underestimate the car once u get turbo on. if you are getting numbers close to seans u will have a lot of power even in the low end, which will come in hannnndy. plus i think our cars handle decently when u put a bit of money into the setup

    u can takem!

I talked with the factory I use for wholesale auto parts about Konis yesturday (9/25/03). 2 weeks ago I had them do a blanket search of numerous factories and dealerships across the country to find a complete set of Konis. Nobody has them. The Koni factory as of current has nothing but left fronts available, HOWEVER the only difference between them and the R front is that OEM spec requires R side to have a bracket that connects to the brake line on it. This bracket can be fabricated so L side will work on the right side as per the Koni factory. The rears however are not available ANYWHERE in the US, however he said that in Holland there are still a few pairs left, but w/ shipping costs from Holland its not worth it. My advise to you is to do what i did, and go ahead and order a set of revalved Bilstiens, as per the thread at the top of this forum. good luck!
