Speaker Help ....

I need help,

What kind of Speakers can I fit in the rear and front doors without cutting too much?

How can I fit 6x9's in?

I was thinking putting 6" JBL's in the front and rear ... and getting a good Subby...

ideas?

6.5's all around, a pair of 12's... run component systems over full range speakers... much better sound

you can cram 6X9's in the back if you get the speaker pods from an LXi. im not sure which year, but i believe its 88-89. thats where i got mine from. you may have to drill a hole in the rear deck to accomodate the third screw in the 6x9 pods (two of the screws line up already)

With the speaker pods, you’ll have to be careful about what 6x9’s will fit. I just barely squeezed some pioneer TS-A6985’s in there, but I had to get longer screws from the hardware store. You might want to check with crutchfield.com to see which 6x9s will fit in an LXi. 6.5’s would probably be easier...
