    Question Ground Controls

Hey guys I'm planning on lowering my car with Ground Controls, but i was wondering if they are even worth getting. So any one with these coil overs could you please give me some feedback and if they are easy to adjust or not, thanks!
Also I was wondering if this shop by my house is giving me a deal or ripping me a new one. They are selling the ground contols and tokico all around for $560 out the door. Does that seem about right. Thanks for the help

the 560$ is for the ground controls and the tokico's? If that is correct then that sounds like a pretty good price. As far as the ground controls go I would say they are the best coilovers money can buy, should be quite easy to adjust them also.

Yeah it's $560 for the coil overs and tokico's and that's with tax and everything. The only thing is i have to install them or have someone install them for me.

For that price I would definetly pick em up.....just keep in mind that with the ground controls you are more than likely going to need camber correction depending on how low you are wanting to go. So that means you will probably need to pick up some prelude control arms or a camber kit.

I have that same set-up and I am about lowered 2.75". I love the Ground Controls but hate my front Tokicos. The rear tokicos are fine, it is just the front. See if you can get Koni specials for in front.

88LXi68, thanks for telling him how you feel. I was going to warn him about using the tokico's in the front and ask him to email you to talk to you about them. Now I don't have to, thanks

p.s did you get my email reply to your email about my front koni's?

Cash I paid 520 for everything, but your getting a good deal. my camber is sort of corrected by the prelude arms. I dont have it 100% corrected because the negative camber allows the wheels to tuck in and not create any rubbing.

Jim I got your email, sorry i didnt repsond sooner but check it yours.

hey 88lxi68 i checked on the prices for the Koni specials and they're a little out of my price range. I don't think I'll be going as low as you did, so how bad are the tokico's, is it something i'll be able to put up with?? thanks for the help

you can put up with it cause I do, but it gets annoying real fast. If you can just get the front Koni's do it.

Oh,....ah,....sorry to hear that. You could always replace them with struts that can handle lowering springs instead of being OEM replacements.
