    not a big deal?

yea, so i got a 87 LX 5 speed an i noticed when i bought the car about 3 months ago that the car can start whether or not i have the clutch engaged, but ever since my clutch was french fried i forgot about this until i started it up again w/o pressing the clutch? is this really a big deal...like could this be the reason my clutch died out on me? i dunno....thanks

    bless...

Mine starts without the clutch in, its pretty common for the switch to go bad. I have 3 switches that I pulled from the junkyard, I'm just too busy to put em in and see if they fix it
