b20 110hp?
Does the b20 really have only 110 hp @4500rpm? If this is try what is the sense in swapping out a a20a3 for a b20 when the a20a3 has 120hp @5500rpm? I must be missing something, unless the b20 can be greatly boosted. (double overhead can vs single, same 2.0, 110 to 120,.......I'm confused.
I don't need speed, I just want it.
The B20a has 160hp, but I think that figure is not a sae figure, I think it's din. I've seen someone do the math to convert it to sae and come up with 140hp. In any event it wasn't sold here and it's from a time when the japanese didn't list horsepower figures in sae for car's not sold here.

The JDM Accord B20A is rated at 160ps. PS is the unit of metric horsepower. PS and HP are basically the same when you convert from one to the other. So the JDM B20A has approx. 160hp.

PS is short for Pferdestarke, the term for metric horsepower, one horsepower is equal to 1.0139 PS.
I just don't remember seeing JDM horsepower figures in that era listed in ps, are we really sure it's ps. I don't mind being wrong, I just don't remember ps

Check out the Honda Japan web site. It has a section that details all the Honda cars sold in Japan. All the power figures are listed in ps.

keep in mind there are several versions of the b20
B20b(cr-v)-126 bhp
B20z(cr-v) -146 bhp
B20a5(3rd gen prelude)- ???(I'll get back to you on this one)
JDM B20a(3rd gen accord and 2nd gen prelude)- 160 bhp.
