pics pics pics PICOPOP!
i can't see pics all i get is red x's.how can i see the pics.
Just like Jims 86LXI HB said cut 1/2 inch off the top of the forks. I didnt take any pics of me cutting them.
Here's the fork cut and leveled
here's a pic of the stock fork and modified fork.
I choose not to use the pinch fork bolt since the weight of the car keeps it in tight enough
There is a difference now with the modified forks in place. I had a 3 finger gap between the tire and wheel well and now I can barely get 2 fingers in.
As soon as I drive the car somemore and let it settle I'll take more pics.
I do notice that the car's front end is level with the back now
Note: Do this at your own risk Myself nor 3Geez assume any responsibility for this modification

Function>form keep that bolt in there fellas. The weight does keep the strut in the sleeve but put the bolt back in there!I wouldnt run it without the bolt.

ok cool so just cut a 1/2 inch, hell yeah.. I need that front end tucked like the rear... It's too sexy!
yea i'd put the bolt back in just to be safe, the factory shock had it so don't see how it would hurt the shock.
Pics of your car with this this mod yet pico?
There was a thread on honda-tech about the bolt thing a while back. Putting the bolt in does indent the shock body slightly, but doesn't damage anything. I wouldn't risk not having the bolt in place.
