    Hell yea for $5 anything is a good deal! Don't be suprised if the vacuum advance diaphram doesn't hold vacuum like it should, cuz they usually don't last very long. But as long as you don't mind possibly replacing that, it should be all good!

    Tec had an external ignitor unit (dist cap with the one flat edge), as well as a plastic vacuum advance diaphram unit. Hitachi had an internal ignitor unit (all round dist cap), and a metal vacuum advance diaphram unit. Hitachi is for carbs only, Tec makes distributors for both carb and EFI, and the 2 Tec's (carb-EFI) are different from each other
