    vacuum line question.

    I was going to remove the vacuum lines using the how-to but saw this:

    "This modification is for a carburetor with no choke, manual secondary, and NO cruise control."

    How do i know if this is me?

    *ok...so i saw the little hand-drawn picture of the piece that converts the mechanical secondary conversion....but where/how do i get it?{the little piece}

    You can keep the choke in place... just follow my diagram in the link in my sig.

    also you don't have to convert to a manual secondary. Just run the line from the carb vacuum source to the secondary diaphragm, without the splice.

    The little vacuum connectors can be found in just about any auto store... look for 5/32" vacuum "T" fillings... don't worry about "L" joints since you can just run one continuous vaccum line.

    its not hard at all...just click on the link that A20 gas and take a good long look at the diagram pic he has...just take your air cleaner off and you will be able to see what he is trying to do...the hardest part is taking all the lines off...and yes you can keep your A/C and cruise too if you want
