How does a 86-87 rear work on a coupe? The coupes were only made from 88-89 and as far as I know the rears are not interchangeable. I could be wrong though. On another note, with 80K, buy it. You can swap in a 5 speed.

my project 3g's done 250.000kms. New springs, shocks, brakes, mounts, blah blah and the engine not even been started yet, getting there, just finished polishing the internals. 80k would b a perfect starting point, buy it bro

Yeah i think you must be retarded, just cause i just joined you persume i dont know wot im talking about? I speak from experience when i say a 5 speed conversion is easy, its easy!! Do you know wot a spanner is? how bout a socket wrench? theres like 4 bolts holding the pedal box in, the hole 4 the clutch cables already in the firewall, the mounts are identical. The driveshafts in the b2k5/f2k5 b20a1 driveline are the same length. Change the flywheel fit the pedal box, clutch cable etc.... Then all you have to worry about is the starter inhibator and the reverse lights. The inhibators easy you join two wires together. The reverse lights simply run wire from the switch at the gearbox to the switch where the auto selecter used to be. Simple done drop the clutch and burn some rubber. It will take you 4hours tops to do the conversion, provided you got the tools and you can loosen the flywheel, want me to write it out in steps for you?
