    THULE Roof Rack

I have a THULE roof rack for 86-89 honda accords. Roof rack is in brand new condition and includes locks, windscreen, two velovise bike holders. Complete set up. Very easy to change for skis or snowboard. not sure if anyone on here would be interested but I need to get rid of this. I no longer mountain bike. Asking 250 plus shipping. Cost alittle over 500 new last year.

$250 for a roof rack? WOW, it must be made of gold.

A roof rack isn't that much of a desired item, so asking 250, whether it's worth that or not, is a little steep if you really are serious about selling it.

come down man, the reason i said that is because the roof racks are cheap this days. i can get one from EUROPE for under $150 including shipping. i think you are asking too much.

That is in no way anything like the one I have. 250 is a fair price. I did not post asking if any one thought it was a fair price. I posted to sell it. If you don't want it that is fine I just don't see the point in posting in this thread if you aren't inquiring about info about purchasing the rack. I am sure people will take your side and whore this post up more because you have been here much longer than me and seem to be a respected member. That is why I got pissed off. I really expect more common sense. This board is a great reference tool. But just look at all the B.S. in some of these thread. (buy/sell in particular) Some good deals happen I have made a few, but also have wasted time with inquiries from people that probably had no intention of buying item for sale. Sheperd I am sure you have had the same experience with people saying they are interested or requesting something then bailing.

By the way did you get my message a while ago about the e-brake handle cover?

Any way just dont post if you are not interested.

And if you dont think this is a fair price i will list the links to each part seperately.

No one here is going to buy it, so you may as well sell it on eBay.

Thanks for the advice. I am putting it in the local trading post though. How do you know no one is going to buy it? I know this board may be geared more to performance/appearance, but it sounds like a lot of 3gs are everyday drivers too. I had The rack on my 3g b/c it was more practical than one of my other cars.

I said in my first post that I wasn't sure if any one was interested.

Most of us here lack a bit in the money department, and I know that thule roof racks are very nice, but most of us cannot afford the nice things (hence why we have a 3g in the first place).

Good luck selling it, and I hope you can get at least half of your money you invested in it back!

Thanks. I am by no means rich. It was funny hauling a mountain bike worth more than the 3g.
