Hey, I don't know if anyone here will remember me, but you might remember my car... as the name says:

Well anyways, I had to sell my baby sometime around last October, bought a truck, sold that thing the better part of 5 months ago, and have been carless ever since.

Well you'll be happy to know that I've found my way back to 3geez, well almost that is. Tonight I'm going to look at an absolutely mint 1988 Accord SEi two door five speed. Only one problem : it's red. If I buy it that will soon change, I was also looking at Sean's custom made turbo kits and am very interested seeing as how the point of most of my cars (minus the truck of course) is to go fast, I'd really like to bring the accord into the 12's or lower.

Anyways, wish me luck, hope its a good find.

Hey welcome back from the dead, and back to 3geez! If you are going to buy the red SEI, I would either keep it red or paint it white. Black is such a hard color to maintain, but at least if the car has any rust it really wouldnt show. But hey good luck

I dont mind the maintenance, although white does look good. I'll see how the motor runs before I decide if I wanna build it up then turbo it or if it's just beat up and I'll swap something in.

Wait just realized that it was a pic. You need to add img tags around the address. But I believe that geocities is a bitch about that so it probably wont work. Try Yahoo Briefcase, or just start a cardomain account that will definetely work.

Is sean the only guy on here who's made it to 13s?

No there is a HB from CT thats in the low 12's that i saw last year. His name is Jonnyo (sorry if i spelled it wrong). I was impressed to see the crowd at the track cheer him on. And i would think Justins car would have been 13's easily with his setup. I myself would expect 13's no problem with my setup when she is done but it is gonna stay a street car so its gonna be heavy if i keep the system and all. Also 88Lxi68 should put down decent numbers with his LS/Vtec we did this summer and its fully built with all the bolt ons.

I don't know abot Canada but here the SEi was only produced in 89 and never came in the color red.

So be careful when you go look at this car and make sure it is what they are claiming it to be.

Also here the only cars that came red were DX's.

thats wickedaccord but last i read he'd bought himself a civic and was selling the accord
