You could have your tranny rebuilt by LEVEL10 and you can get a higher stall speed torque convertor from LEVEL 10
As for chips... you have an LX so your car is carbed... If you get a better carb all you'll need is a screw driver and a few extra jets to change the fuel mixture. But there are no chips.

enybody know how to hook up a performance chip
uhhh this is a 3 year old thread, probably not the place for this question... but ecu chipping will probably involve soldering.
