nothing, you will get a lot of carbon deposits on your pistons and valves which may lead to early death of the engine.

Your engine can "bog", meaning there is too much fuel being sprayed into the cylinders in proportion to the spark. You'll get poor fuel economy, poor throttle response, hesitation and possibly stall if it's too rich. Your exhaust will be dark. It will "foul" your spark plugs and they'll have carbon deposits like the picture below.

    Rich is bad.

*edit* I'm not meaning to contradict Shepherd79 I'm referring to a overly rich mixture.

it can also destroy the piston rings by fuel wahsing the oil off the cylinder walls.

If its running rich with a carbureater it will flood frequently.

I can smell a car running rich from a mile away.

You can lose compression by runnning way to rich. And it is not about it being in proportion to the spark it all about the air-fuel ratio

There is nothing good to an overly rich mixture of A/F unless you really like smoke screens or a fan of spy hunter.

You can wire that little flame kit or a DIY job for a flame to shoot out...
