Well that is good info but it belongs in the Engine Swaps. The prices seem to be about the average, but I can get it a lot cheaper.

Much cheaper!!! I look it to buying a B18C1 and it was $700 for the complete running engine with wire harness and ECU minus the tranny. They wanted another $800 for the tranny some I'm thinking about getting a B18B tranny. I don't know about any other engines but this is all form a dealship so they can get just about any engine you needed.
