    Angry A/T Not Shifting Properly

Alright, here is the deal. I'm driving. And I reach about 50mph or so. It gets to about 3100rpm's. If I let off the accellerator, and then push back on it, not hard...the rpm's climb as if I were in nuetral. It doesn't shift until I either get to about 5000rpm, or I let off the gas for about 5 seconds, and then it shifts, once I push the gas again. Is there something I have to replace here? I am replacing my sparkplugs and wires soon. They are as old as the car, so would this help? Anything will help with responses, thanks.

That's got to be the cleanest living DX I've ever seen.

Wow, that's absolutely amazing-that car does not look like it's 20 years old!

Sounds like the same problem my automatic had before the swap. You're tranny is dying, or it needs a fluid flush.

Well I don't think heat is a factor, because even in the cooler mornings, it does it. It is either it needs a flush, or yes, my tranny is sadly going....
