    auto->5spd questions

    Okay guys..I got the swap done, but a few concerns. The driver side axle wont go completely in, it clicks in once, and is tight, but I know it should sit flush, like the passenger side does. Also, from the looks of it, the inner CV joint sit REALLY close to the flywheel, is this normal? I'ma work on the cruise control stuff soon, so I'll let ya guys know. TIA!

    Are you using the 5-speed driver side axle or the automatic one?

    The Honda service manual says that the 5-speed shaft is 805-809.5 mm from face to face (first big step past the splines on both sides). The automatic shaft is 812-816.5 mm long. The passenger side is the same for both.

    Well I don't think that it's the shaft that's too long, it juss seems as though the CV joint is too wide or something. Talk about close clearances..lols....well i'll check it out when i have time. thanx!

    How much does the swap, in total, cost? Icluding labor?
