    4 barrel carb?

    does anyone know anything about a 4 barel carb for a 3g and if so how much and where can i get it?

    Go to the performance or carb tech forum and look at the top. One of our moderators, A20A1, is in the process of installing one.

    autozone has a carb plate adapter that is supposed adapt holly style 4 bbls to any 2 bbl manifold.it's only like $20.if you do put a 4 bbl on your 3g make sure you note the correct cfm. you really don't want to run more than about 300 to 390 cfm without a modified or aftermarket cam and header and ignition etc.etc.

    yeah there is an adapter plate however the adapter plate causes the carb to sit too high plus it doesn't divide the plenum which means you'll most likely be overcarbureted at low rpms

    what about an edlebrock carborator would thoses fit on our cars im not sure if anyone has one or not

    edelbrock carbs are wau too big for our engines.they will flood them with fuel.
