    A/T Rebuild

How much do you think it be to rebuild my A20A1 A/T?

I'm guessing no more than a grand or so. I plan on doing that so, I really don't want the A/T failing on me when I'm driving.

That's got to be the cleanest living DX I've ever seen.

Do you mean you had a higher stall speed converter installed? Does your car have faster take-offs now?

Damn. That's a hell of a lot of money. I think I might just sell the accord if it is that much.

That's insane, that's more than half the price of my car. I dunno. Depends on how much my dad's willing to chip in. I really don't want to get rid of my car though, it means alot to me.

That's a lot of RPM to build up for launch. I don't doubt that the tires will smoke!

even with my blown LXI auto i can smoke the tires if i ebrake and floor it, itll break both tires loose. I HATE my auto, i think it died because i was brake torqing it too hard, but the atf isnt burnt, but i think i blew the first or second clutch so it wont have enough pressure to shift into anything in d3 or d4, i just get 1st. If i shift to 2 i get 2nd, thats its. The only thing i liked about it is that it was real easy to race, and id scare friends with 5 speeds because id kill them off the line with it.

3200 RPM is not a lot when the stock converter is 2100 to 2200 RPM lock up
