ayo i just brought a 5-speed 87 accord hatch and hadnt drove it yet...only cuz the battery died..but since i hadnt drove it i got questions about it....like does it have power steering and does it have abs brakes??? and will it still run good considering its and old car...its got 127,117 miles on it....is that bad ?:pimp:
thats pretty low miles for an 87. is it fuel injected or carb? It has power steering but not ABS. These cars go forever if they're taken care of. As long as the car was serviced half way decently it should serve you very well.

yes it should have power steering that i know of, but they didn't have abs on our cars. the mileage doesn't sound to bad considering it's an 87. stay up on your maintenance and you've got a car that will be with you for a while. is it a dx or lx or what?
its the dx version, i have pics of it but i just signed up for this site and on the forum rules thing under the reply box it says you may post new threads, you may...etc but it says u may not post attach ments...sucks how can i change this

You definitely found a car that will take care of you. My 87 LX sedan hasn't given me a single problem since we bought it 6 years ago. 160,XXX miles.

Do you have a site that will host pictures? If they are on the internet all you have to do is link them with IMG tags. If you don't have a place to host them just email them to me and I will set it all up. If you want to upload pics to the 3geez server then all you have to do is become a foundation member.

i bought my accord 4 years ago with 219K miles on it. it was running like a champ.
