Talking My $50 "Evil" Accord (56k friendly)

It's pretty nice minus the water leaks I need to fix, those could get annoying fast!

I have the missing trim piece!

I just realize I forgot to upload a picture of the engine, but I'm sure everyone knows what it looks like anyhow!

This car is replacing my SHO for winter

Pictured above is my 92 SHO along with our 98 SHO ahead of it!:pimp:

Manual is the only way to go my friend, my SHO is manual also, all 3 of mine have been!

I will more than likely sell it at the end of winter, so maybe you can snatch it up then, but why would you want it, when you have a 2000 Accord.

Personally I would sell it now, if I didn't care about keeping my SHO rust free.

Your $50 accord looks better than my rusted out $50 accord anyway good find, especially that black interior which is pretty rare.

Yeah, as 88lxi68 said, that's a damn good find, especially seeing it's the not-so-common Phoenix Red '89 DX Coupe. One of only two 3G's ever with a black (off-black) interior. The other being the Phoenix Red '88 DX Hatch.

Good find! You gonna fix it up at all?

Really its kinda rare huh, awesome! To bad it won't ad to any resale value.

So far I've put a battery, air filter, and a cherrybomb on it since it needed a muffler. Next is brakes and I have to fix the leaking sunroof and one other leak.

I don't really plan on putting any money into it as I'm saving for suspension and a 60k for my SHO. If anything breaks, I'll fix it. It's a winter beater to me, its fun though, I'm kinda looking forward to driving it, even though I will miss my SHO...

Only SHO's had an option of a manual, in fact 89-92 SHO's only came in a stick-shift

    Wish granted!

This picture is of my first SHO (Black 91) with the cable shifter

This one is of my third and current SHO (Red 92) with the rod shifter

It will need new tires due to having to be driven in winter, I have the trim piece, so that will go back on. I'm putting my stereo from the SHO in it for now. I'm figuring maybe 400 bucks into it at the most.

I didn't think I could get $1200 for it though? WOW!

Yeah if I was you I would do some bondo work, take it to maaco for $200 and sell it for 2 grand with a huge profit to spend on your nice car. You can get globs of bondo to look great for a week or so. When we sold the 88 ramcharger we used newspaper to stuff the rust hole and smoothed it with bondo. The hole rusted in two weeks but luckily it sold b/c of the perfect body in a few days.
