ACL's are actually cheaper than OEM honda bearings. But does it really matter if you save a few bucks on such a vital part of the engine?Originally posted by Justin86

Well from what I read many times is that is it perfectly ok and sometime better to use the Honda bearings insdead of paying more for aftermarket.

Yea I would rather pay more for stuff like that, so I can more at ease about my engine not blowing up.

Where did you see that?
I'm not saying Kamikaze is good but in general, DC isn't hard to beat, all you have to do is tune the header for your motor... DC is the basic bolt on header it needs to meet carb requirements and be able to hook up to the stock exhaust system.
They have bolt on stepped header designs that will outperform DC in a portion of the powerband, but different headers make more power in different rpm ranges.
But like I was saying if you move away from street legal and more towards a custom set you'll gain more hp then either.
Also you should compare the torque #'s. There should be a good balace between both. I'd rather gain 5hp and 10 ftlbs of tq then 10hp and 5 ftlbs of tq.
