    Got me a B20A!

Just wanted to annouce the first step in my B20A swap project. I picked this up on Sunday and as you can see from the pic, it is a very comlpete motor. Thanks to Dave (DAM2K2) for selling it to me. He is very knowlegable on these motors and easy to work with. He also has another motor for sale in the marketplace if anyone is interested.

This motor came with an auto trans, but I intend to swap to a 5 speed. I have not decided whether I am going to stay with the FI or swap to carb. My DX is carb now, but I like FI for all around drivability.

I'll update with my progess as things move forward.

Looks like a nice upgrade. Stick with PGM-FI. Its more work but worth it.

Make sure when you get the 5spd (if you find one) to get the flywheel because the SOHC prelude one hits the tranny bell housing. Im curious if the B20A5 one fits better but i have the B20A one so i have no need to check unless they make a lightened one for the B20A5.

    Hey, size doesn't matter!!!

Actually, follow the link at http://gregg.stults.com and there are some pretty large pictures with different angles. If that does not answer your question, let me know and I'll get some more pics.

Fidanza makes a 7.5-lb aluminum flywheel for the B20A5 Prelude motor, and a lude fly will fit the Accord B20A.
