WTB: Engine in WA or ORE

Hey;
I'm looking for a good running engine for my Accord, 86-89, any model. I live in Maple Valley Washington but would be willing to drive and pickup the engine.
Mine runs good except for a mysterious knocking noise at startup and low rpms.

I cant help you with the engine, but does your car have a white interior too? Just asking because an old member here had a white 4dr w/ pearl paint and white interior and sold it and he was in WA.

No, it has a red interior, I painted the car.

I have a motor with 260k highway miles, runs nice and strong, sell it really cheap.

Thanks, but I found one close to home in perfect running order with only 140,000 on it, out of a car that was rear ended.

where did you get it? I'm looking for a cheap motor too. I found one about a month ago for 275 but i didnt have the money.

Well I know of a couple of other motors that are available, but they are all up here in Washington near Seattle or even further north. The motors are still in the cars and one of them is carburated. I don't know if this is too far for you to travel to get a motor. Let me know if this is too far or you want pursue it further.
