Wings are retarted. Sure they create down force......at 120mph. When was the last time you turned at 120mph? I sure try to avoid doing that.

I do like the look of the LOW stock spoilers with and led.

i was readin import tuner the other month and they said the only purpose of a wing on a ff car is to create stability and to keep te car on the ground at 90+ mph. so basically if you are into dragging,k then the wing prolly would have no use to u accept at the finish lin or past when u finally hit 90

Yea that is very true. So a way to get around the problem at low speeds is have it adjustable. I local guy around here had an adjustable spoiler so as he went faster the angle on it adjusted to created to right amount of down force of his 3000GT given the speed.

Yeah, the later models (97-00 i believe) came stock with adjustable spoilers for that reason... but I've haven't heard much on their effectiveness.

cold air on may car put down 5 more WHP than short ram. i had it dynoed with both. and yes it does make a difference, you can feel it across the entire rev range. if they didnt make that big of a difference, there would only be short rams.

yeah my CAI is deffintly a power band booster. its all i got on the AV6 at the moment [dynaflo cat back exhaust runs 600 for the av6 eep] but i noticed a big kick in the revs the whole way across the board. shes sure as hell breathing better.

I have been messing with CAI and different sizes.. I have noticed a HUGE difference in using a 3 inch pipe and then goin to a 2 inch pipe, there is actually a better notice in pull and how quick it grabs up the RPMs..

With which pipe did you get a better pull? The 2 inch?

Mitsu built engine and body, Dodge just "Dodged it up" the car is all Mitsu. They were built in Japan, shipped over, and sold to Dodge. At least that what a few guys over at 3Si told me.

    No DSM sticker, no DSM.

Not necessarily correct, but many were built in Japan. But when the DSM division started, chrysler built the Normal, Ill. plant so Mitsubishi would not break the self-imposed import quota.

The plant produced the Eagle Talon, Mitsubishi Eclipse, Plymouth Laser, Mitsubishi 3000GT, Dodge Stealth, and the Mitsubishi Galant.

I didn't dispute that fact, just said you might call them a DSM. In all the articles i've read, they usually throw the 3kgt/stealth in the mix since it was another of the sport cars built by both companies.

Did you try running a 2,5 inch pipe? Because I got my hands on some steel piping thats 2 inch, and I'm not sure if i should use that or get some 2,5 inch piping instead. 2 inch seems small??

I have 2.5" and I like it pretty good. You would really need to have the car dynoed and try 2", 2.5", and 3" piping to really see the benifits.
