noise from wheel

I am getting this strange intermittent grinding noise from the left front wheel, only when going straight or turning right - when I turn left, the noise goes away.

I replaced both wheel bearings about 2 months ago and replaced the front brake pads also with genuine parts.

any views...:

sounds like maybe your axle is going out. does it click when you turn?

I tested the axle and it was clicking, I'll replace it and check what happens...
