    Testing waters: License plate mount

Ok, so I was surfing online and found this guy that is making these, he said he got the idea from someone else so I'm gonna steal his idea too. They're license plate mounts for your front bumper.
    It's this

    so you can do this

He's selling them for $20 shipped and $5 extra if you want it painted.
Would any of you be interested in these? They're $35-$40 from Cusco plus shipping, so I would make my prices similar to his, maybe even a little cheaper, depending on how many people would want them and what I run into when I start making them. I have access to a machine shop with all the tools that I will need, so these will be high quality, most likely made out of aluminum.

That is a good idea. I don't need them because I live in a state that does not require front plates. If I did I would definitly buy one.

Thats odd, when I lived in Ohio they were required. That was two months ago. I did not put the front one on at first, untill I got a "courtesy ticket" from the Reynoldsburg Police.

Just drill 2 holes in the front of your bumper and put those moly things in there that expand when tightened. Then just screw the plate onto that. Make sure you drill the hole as small as possible. Remember you can always drill a little bigger but never smaller.

I don't get it, why put the plate on the side, why not just leave it in the middle???
