Still overheating, or so it says

My car has been overheating, well atleast that is what the guage says, but I replaced the thermostat, a radiator hose, and a new temp. sending unit but the guage does this... It will show the temp is fine, between a quater up and half way up but then if I turn a corner it will shoot all the way up to hot and then drop back down untill I put on the gas and it will shoot right back up. I was wondering if maybe I needed a new guage since Im running out of things to replace cooling wise.

I would say your temp guage on your cluster is probably a little messed up. I have only tampered with my guage once and a member on here HostileJava basically walked me through it. Of course he was there with me we did it at his house. But I know for a fact they are extremely fragile and if you break the needles or the pins that they go onto you are foocked. But I cant really put anymore input on it because I dont know the whole anatomy of the cluster. Try PMing HostileJava for more info.

Did you bleed the cooling system... there could be an air bubble.
