Best Performance upgrade for under 300

Chirstmas is coming up and I was wondering what would be the best performance upgrade for around $300 or less¿

Well a DC Sports header is around 350? I would say that would be your best performance upgrade for that money. I know there are a couple of people out there who dont like DC Sports, and those people just keep your mouths shut!!

Screw all that, NOS all the way!!!!

p.s. this will kill your car, a intake and exaughst would be a more wise investment.

I bought a muffler and had 2.5" exhaust ran from the cat back all for under $150. Take the rest in cash.

This is prob. a stupid question, but whats the difference between a regualr exuast and a cat-back exuast. Will headers boost my power very much, I have a cold air intake, and bosch platnum 2 spark plugs and soon MSD Blaster 2 coil.

Headers will help. If you get the Pacesetter header you will still have enough $$$ for the exhaust. If you don't have emissions loose the cat. If you do have emissions get a high flow cat.
Cat-back exhuast is exhaust from the cat back. Pretty simple.

your not going to get fast for that money...so i would go handling

some wider wheels tires and/or a lower stance, find some used wheels tires, and some lowering springs...both should run you under 300 if you shop right.

Fix the exhaust man then, you can get nice mufflers for cheap too... I got a DTM one for $45, but I installed it myself... The two headers available are the ones from Pacesetter and DC Sports... The common thing with the pacesetter's is they are cheap and break easy(it seems by recent posts, they suck) or the more than $300 DC Sports Ceramic Headers... which seem to work well.

I only paid 275 for my DC new in the box, I got lucky on EBAY. My cat back ran 150 with the muffler and it was a nice gain, in my opinion. You could do a CAI and cat back and still have some cash left.

the Pacesetter header/cat-back/exhaust/anything is pretty much junk...... there have been pics of the coatings just burning off the headers ans rusted exhausts after only a year of use.... get a cam or if you just want bolt on, go DC Header......

A cam or GO-GO juice is you best bet......... but like Kroy said... ou'll probly blow it up cuz you'll go juice crazy......... I know I would

    buy used kits...they are everywhere...

mainly get the bottle and lines...the rest you can by seperate.

Domestic sites ie corral.net and camaroz28.com have alot of efi kits usually w/ warmers and purge for cheap..and alot just selling bottles.

y buy new when you can get a kit thats had 3 or less bottles through it for half the price or less.
