FS: 17" Eagle Rims w/ Cavalier Defender Rubbers

    Hi All,

I never listed anything up for sale here but thought I would give it a try anyway.

Here is a link to what the rims are about:

    http://www.aewheel.com/wheels_detail.cfm?id=70

Here is a link to what the rubbers are about:

    http://www.etires.com/showSizes.jsp?...RF&group=DEFHR

When I bought these, they came with a 1990 Celica GTS. They were used for about a year or so only during the warmer months of course. Since I bought the car, I had sold it and now have the rims and rubbers left but it will not fit the current car I drive.

They were bought from The Tire Warehouse (Edmonton, Canada) originally for a little under $1700. The tread is still excellent but two of the four rims have been slighlty curbed (scratched) but of course not bent.

I have an idea of how much they can go for but if anyone is interested, I would be happy to sell them since I have no interest nor have any idea when it comes to rims and rubbers. Plus, this forum has helped me a lot in many ways. And for any serious buyers, I would be happy to digicam some pictures of them

    Thanks guys and gals

Lug pattern? Geez, you may have to explain what that is to me. LIke I said, I don't know too much about wheels.

hmm, I even have a friend in the E-dot that could probably pick them up for me. I'll get back to you depending on whether I work a few weekends.

Most passenger cars use either 4 or 5 lug hubs/wheels. However, with foreign cars, there's multiple "4-lug" options such as the 4x100 (found on 3G's, all honda civics, and integras ni. ITR) and the other 4 lug pattern is 4x114 (or something like that) which is found on cars like the 90+ accords.

When you see a 4x100 or 5x4.5, etc. The first number is how many lugs or wheel studs are on the hub of the car, then the second is relative to the spacing between the studs, or lug holes in the wheel.

Thats cool Jon, but I definitely want you to see them beforehand. Or at least have your friend inspect them because of the scratches on the two rims. It's all about trust - at least to me. Too much shit out there nowadays.

Just let me know through email or here, and even if you don't like them, I don't mind the rejection. At least your not my girl...LOL

Thanks for your knowledge Mark. How would I be able to look into the lug-age (no pun intended, well, sort of). From what my buddy tells me, its a 4-bolt rim. Is that anywhere near what we are talking about? Or would it be easier for me to look on the rims themselves to see if there shows whether its a 4 or 5 lugger? Or should I just count the bolts in the box I have for them?

    Just take a look at the wheel. If there's 4 holes in each wheel, they're 4 lug. If there's 5, it's a 5 lug. If there's 8 then it's a universal 4 lug, and 10= 5 lug universal.

If he says it's 4 bolt, then all you'll need to find out now is if it's 4x100 or 4x114. That's where a little measuring comes in, or.... ...hang on a sec. you said they were on a '90 Celica GTS? I'll see if I can find it's lug pattern. Find that and we're golden. Be back in a few, gotta go surfing.

Thanks a lot Mark. This forum hardly ever lets down, amazing. Another cool thing is that the 3geez are holding a mini gathering in our city in a few weeks as well. But anyways.

According to the picture (from the link), it shows 4 bolts. Would that mean 4 lugs then? Or two different things?

You forgot the link! Oh, just to clarify, the celica isn't mine anymore since I had to sell it - I just have the rims (for some odd reason I don't know). But I hope they will be sold too.

bolt or lug, just a different word that means the same thing when you're talking about wheels.

if the rims were on your celica they are 4-lug pattern. also they are 4x100 so they'll fit on the 3geez.

They are 5-lug actually, or at least I almost swear they are because thats how many lugs I have in the box...lol. Would it be that the newer celi's have 4-bolts?

Lol...if its a 4-lug, then it may be possible...even 4-lug patterns on rims have different dimensions than it may hve on your wheel thing (brain fart). If a rim is 5-lug, then it wont fit our accords, period
