price them online,it'll better than asking us since none of us are axle retail sales people. Check online at NAPA, Autozoned, PimpBoys, semi-AdvancedAuto and see what you can find. I think they run around 50 or 60 bucks each plus a core charge

I think its a little more than that. I paid $145 for my pair of rebuilt draveshafts at AdvanceAuto. I am assuming you have no clue how to change them so you would be better off going to a mechanic. They usually charge $200-$300 for labor for both sides. Since one completely broke I am assuming the other one is not so nice looking either. DO IT RIGHT, DONT BE A CHEAPASS.
If you know friend or family member who is good with cars you are in luck. it can be done in about 3 hours in your own driveway by most people with some experience. It is not very difficult. It takes a jack, jackstands and a few wrenches. Thats it.

well Autozone is sayin 59.99 for the drivers side and the same for the passenger side so 120 bucks for both plus 50 bucks each for a core charge so thats another 100 bucks

I don't know, it took me more than a few wrenches man, I had to use an air impact especially to remove the spindles and some of those suspension parts can be a bitch to pull apart.

Keep it man. Fight it to the death. A car should not go to car heaven for just that. Its common to replace driveshafts once or twice in the life of a Honda.

I just had mine replaced, each side twice, due to defective axles

Anyway they were $111.00 apiece and I had them replaced with my balljoints. Cost $600.00 total.

dude axles are like tha easiest thing to change on your and trust me i broke enough of them like 6 or 7 so far and it took me only like 1 hour to change it and refill tha tranny like all you need is a one inch socket a breaker bar and a few wrenches and somethin to fill tha tranny i got this thing from autozone for like 4 dollars that goes on top of tha oil bottle and it worked fine. Its really easy just dont let it intimidate you. but good luckk with it man

Well are you sure that it is the axle. Was there any loud sounds like shit breaking? I wouldn't buy new axles when nothing is wrong with the current one. I would think that it is a prob with the differental since you suddenly lost power to both wheels. It would be weird if you stripped the splines on both axles at the same time. I'm putting money that it is more wrong inside the tranny.

axles are easy to change. I would have this diagnosed by a mechanic. You sound like you have no idea what you are talking about.

if you dont have any major poweradders, just get an OEM... even with weber, headers and full exhaust, i have no slipping problems... and i have 215 width tires... so go with an OEM and save your cash for a header adn intake or somthing
