Parting out 1988 LXi in SE Washington

147k miles, automatic, white exterior and burgandy (red) interior, excellent shape.

The car was in an accident. It has minor front damage, including the entire front bumper, both headlights, and the radiator and AC condensor.

In a day or two I will do a final check on the front end, take a few pictures, and post a phone # and VIN #. The engine looks fine so far, and I am told the transmission and suspension were fine when the car was running. There is no visible damage to the suspension, engine or transmission, but I will double-check them before considering any offers.

If anyone wants dibs, has questions, or wants to see pictures of specific parts, e-mail me. Otherwise, look for the list--to be posted later.

    ~ Ciao

p.s. I am parting out this vehicle for a friend in exchange for the gas tank, fuel line, and tires, so they are already spoken for.

If that doesn't work (for whatever silly reason), there's an indirect link here:

How much for the whole car if I come and get it? Your friend could even keep the motor/tranny if he wanted, but I will take it if he doesn't want it.

    Make an offer.

If you don't want the motor and tranny, I can remove them and put a set of tires on it ready for you to pick up. It will just take a few days to get her ready.

p.s. Apologies I couldn't get interior pictures too. The inside is in mint condition.

Ok, well I'm definately interested in the car minus motor/tranny. I basically just want the exterior but I'll take the interior as well. How much for the car minus motor/tranny?
also, if you want, you don't have to bother putting tires on it. You can just set the car on blocks and I'll bring a set of wheels/tires with me.

    A/C Condensor fan

I'd take $30 plus shipping. Where will it be going to?

Sorry, but I'm gonna have to back out on the car now. Just broke an axle and tranny in my car, so I'm stuck with fixing my car.

Then she's still up for bid. I'd prefer to part out, but if someone wants the whole car (note the pics!) then the seller wants $800 firm.

Parting her out, I would take around $600 for the shell (minus a handful of interior components, negotiable) and $500 for the engine. Yes, it's more, but I've pulled an A20 out before, so it isn't that bad....

it was on my 88 accord, and the boot on my axle was ripped and after a few weeks of driving all the grease dried up and when I went to turn the axle caught up and stopped turning and that stripped all the gearing in my tranny.

    For the rear bumper...

You'd have to make me an offer I couldn't refuse.

Such as... do you know how to take it off? I could never get mine off, and I don't want to break the sucker.

g0ldfinGa: Rear lights look ok. Front ones are all busted. The car appears to have been hit square on. Sorry.

NXRacer: I'm about 3 hours from Portland. Say... $450 u pick up? I'm willing to negotiate.

Does it have the 4 door electric windows? If so i could use that combo swtich for the drivers door... and the cruise control button. Let me know how much.
