    WTB Manual Window Regulator for 86 Accord 4 door, drivers door

    Would preffere someone who has sold on the board before.

    Nope I need the manual mechanical one..

    At least I THINK thats what the part is called...

    The whole assembly that raises/lowers the window.

    I may be in trouble here.
    All the Accords in my local junkyards already have this part missing.. so I assume its a common part to break??

    I dont have the resources to post a pic at the moment...

    I will describe the part.


    The part that the window handle clips onto does not work.
    I am not talking about the small shaft... the small shaft is fine.

    The part that the small shaft goes into is broken... its a round peice inside the door itself.

    My freind tells me that the whole window assembly is one peice..
    includes that part and all the tracks and such to lower/raise the window. From what I can see he is right about that.

    The thing just spins when I turn the handle ( the shaft is not stripped )
    Sometimes I can get it to catch.. but I still cant raise my window
    because even when it does catch there is a gear jamming inside.

    Its cold here in Michigan now... I would really like for my window to raise.

    i know what you're talking about. i had a dx that i ripped apart before i sent it off to the junkyard. i'll go check in my pile of parts to see if i have one
    one of my 88 lx's is up for parts. good engine and transmission. pretty much everything is there. the fenders and hood are bad but other than that it's pretty good.

    RIP my beutiful 5g coupe. May the villans rot in hell!

    i don't have the driver's side. i have the passenger side and the rear drivers side but i don't tink that will help. sorry.
    one of my 88 lx's is up for parts. good engine and transmission. pretty much everything is there. the fenders and hood are bad but other than that it's pretty good.

    i have to look around the yards. DX is very rare model around here.
    you need front driver side assembly, right?

    Yes I need the drivers door assembly.

    My car is an LX ( I didnt think it made a differance )
    but it was manufactured for the Canadian market..
    so it doesnt have all the options a LX should have...
    very few options at all.


    Its very comparbale to a DX.

    I hope the model doesnt make a differance on this part..
    I dont think it should.
