are power window motors all the same around the car?

Hi, I guess I'm being lazy but I also don't want to mess up my other door to check it it's possible to replace the motor in drivers door with any of the other ones. I know that the mechanisms will differ but I suspect that the motors themselves can be identical... Can anyone help? Thanks.

according to majestic website (http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/) there two diff types of motors for each door. Plus each door has diff motor part number, so no, they are not the same. you have to get the right motor to match the door.

with all due respect, I was able to swap the motor from the front passenger door to the rear passenger door and vice versa. The nylon gear teeth started slipping in the front window motor, and since the rear window didn't get used as much I swapped them.

I would suspect that the driver's side motors would be similar also in that respect.
