Those tires would be massive... I can't see how they would fit at all without rubbing.

get 205/40 or 215/40 if youre not dropped too low.
yea that is a lot of tire, you be better off with a 40 series, esp depending on the drop.

If you want more tire, I'd get 16s on a 205/45 or 215/45 tire. Unless you're dropped at least 2", 17s look too big on our small accords.

I disagree. Our wheel arches are enormously huge and anything less than a 17-inch wheel would require a drop close to, and maybe more than 3 inches to look half-good. But then again, I live in the continent where dropping cars over as low and wide as possible wheels is the ONLY way to do it right.Originally Posted by keruhas184

Nah, tires should be as slim as possible IMO. My next wheel dimension would probably be something like 8 or 8.5*15 10-offset with 205/45-15 tires. They would be a little lower/shorter than stock, but I'll make up for it by more lowering, hopefully close to 3.5-4 inches on DropZone coilovers.Originally Posted by Justin86

im a lil late to this thread but anyway. You cannot put a 225 width tires on our cars without having an offset of 45mm and greater. Fender modifications are required and without much power, its not worth it. There are tons of 205 tires with great selection and for a moderately tuned car, it should be alright. like they said, 225/50/17 is toooo big 225/40/17 is big too, but the speedo is a lil off so u wont mind. With bigger tires and rim u do get a lot more sprung weight since the rims are heavy. Unless u wanna get lightweight rims, which i dont think its possible to buy cheap 15lbs 17 X 7.5 ( to fit the 225). so stick with 205s.Originally Posted by TWOLOUDNPROUD
