    Funky Tranny Noise

Uhh....I doubt that this is normal. My transmission (I think) makes a loud funky noise a lot of times when I shift into park. It sounds almost like when you attatched a card to a bicycle tire and it makes that clicking noises, except this is more of a grinding "something is wrong" noise. Any help would be great.

that is the tranny selector gears grinding themselves to dust... It helps somtimes if you shift from neutral directly to park (NOT MOVING) never shift the auto from drive to reverse, or reverse to anything other than neutral when rolling (even like .5 mph) itll damage the selectors.

Make sure the idle isnt to high b/c if you were holding the gas pedal while shifting it would do the same thing.

low fluid causes grinding into gears and delays, especially going into reverse. If you haven't changed the oil in a while I would suggest it, all u need is a 1/2 drive ratchet to open the drain bolt, a funnel, and a big gallon of Dextron III

<edit> oh yea and please dump your oil responsibly :smokin: <edit>
