    Engine question

    Hey guys i have a quick question. Whats the model number of a 3rg gen accord engine and is it the same engine as in a 1990 accord and that generation? Thanks a lot.

    The model numbers for the 3rd Gen accord are: A20a1 for the carbed 86-89 (98hp), A20a2 for 86-87 EFI (110hp), A20a3 for 88-89 EFI (120hp). Also, the 4th gen accords do not have the same engine as the 3rd gens.

    no1 4th gen accord with a 3rd gen motor at least in USDM !

    a 93 z34 that's getting parted out, an 86 accord lx that now lives in a j/y, and a 90 camry le that the state no longer allows me to drive. soon to be replaced with an aprilia rs50 or a derbi gpr.
